NILS 2.4.28 Release Notes - 11/30/20

The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching released an enhanced version of the Networked Improvement Learning and Support (NILS) platform on November 30, 2020.

Enhancements in the November 2020 2.0 NILS Release:

  • Driver Diagram Tool:

    The Driver Diagram authoring feature has been updated as follows:

    • Data can be added for a driver in a rich text format when authoring the driver diagram.
    • Drivers and change ideas can have multiple parent elements in the driver diagram (e.g., a change idea may belong to two primary drivers, two secondary drivers, or two tertiary drivers).

How is this different from the previous version?

  • Driver Diagram Tool
    • Hub members can now add data to drivers when authoring or updating a driver diagram.
    • Hub members can now connect a driver or change idea to multiple parent elements in the driver diagram.
