The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching released an enhanced version of the Networked Improvement Learning and Support (NILS) platform on September 3, 2019.

Group Notifications:
The group notifications feature has been updated as follows:
- Hub members, group leads, and content experts can set a “verbosity” mode for a group, whereby all members of the group receive notifications of all posts, all comments, and all replies within the group
How is this different from the previous version?
- Group Notifications
- Hub members, group leads, and content experts can now modify the default notification frequency for groups by turning on a “verbosity” mode; the default notification mode notifies all members in a group of new posts, notifies a post author of comments on his/her post, notifies a commenter of replies to his/her comment, etc., while the “verbosity” mode notifies all members of all comments and replies in the group, as well as all posts.
