The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching released an enhanced version of the Networked Improvement Learning and Support (NILS) platform on July 22, 2019.
Enhancements in the July 2019 2.0 NILS Release:

Homepage:
The Improvement Testing homepage has been updated as follows:
- Activities to which a member is assigned in the Activity Center, which occur during the Improvement Testing phase, appear in a “My Activities” tab on the homepage

Profile:
The member profile feature has been updated as follows:
- Members can add their professional titles on their profile pages, which will appear on their profile cards throughout the site

Notifications:
The notifications feature has been updated as follows:
- Email notifications are in the midst of an overhaul to include HTML-formatted enhancements and a functional redesign
How is this different from the previous version?
- Homepage
- For the sake of visibility, activities occurring in the Improvement Testing phase to which a member is assigned now appear in a “My Activities” tab on the homepage.
- Profile
- Members can now enter their professional titles on their profile pages, which then populate across the site on members’ profile cards in the directory, groups, etc.
- Notifications
- Formerly, all email notifications were sent in plain text.
